文章出處：康健雜誌134期 2010.01.01 作者 ： 林貞岑整理 圖片來源 ： 陳德信 睡覺時戴上濕口罩，就能預防感冒、改善氣喘和頭痛?日本牙醫博士臼田篤伸，在《口罩博士的免疫力革命》書中，分享個人實行25年的保健經驗－－濕口罩健康法。 專攻癌細胞培養學的臼田醫生，常在早上起床時出現感冒症狀－－喉嚨乾燥、疼痛和全身痠痛，後來發現原因是睡覺時用嘴巴呼吸，導致口腔黏膜乾燥，細菌在口腔內大量滋生，增加了上呼吸道感染機會。 主張自然治癒力的他靈機一動，把最簡單的紗布口罩沾濕戴著睡覺（不蓋住鼻子），不但避免用嘴巴呼吸，也讓上呼吸道能夠保持濕潤不乾燥，好處是不再感冒，甚至連青春痘、氣喘和頭痛等症狀也獲得改善。 「濕口罩確實能改善呼吸道乾燥的狀況，」林口長庚醫院呼吸胸腔科主治醫師劉文德解釋，正常呼吸會經由鼻腔達到加溫濕潤效果，但像臼田醫生這種清晨起床會出現喉嚨痛的患者，多半是用嘴巴張口呼吸造成，臨床上常見。此外，張口呼吸也會造成副交感神經過度興奮，產生青春痘、頭痛等問題，甚至引起氣喘發作。 但劉文德強調，濕口罩僅是暫時解決方法，「最重要的是找出張口呼吸背後的原因，」像是過敏性鼻炎或鼻涕倒流等，都是造成張口呼吸的原因，對症下藥，才能徹底解決問題。（林貞岑整理）
