方相舞蹈團－緣起
民國81年由羅媖芳老師獨立所成立之吉賽兒兒童舞坊於板橋。成立之初以推展舞蹈文化藝術為宗旨，並提供創作與學習的交流平台，讓編創者與舞者、學員有創作相互學習的機會，一起努力創造台灣舞蹈藝術的新文化意涵。
舞蹈表演風格以中國民間舞、台灣民俗舞蹈、樂舞為主；為忠於原有傳統與民族特色，相關演出舞碼皆忠於各民族特色，演出時配合民族傳統樂器或以吟唱歌頌等伴奏方式配合作最忠實的原貌呈現。
為展現舞團團員之中國民間舞蹈表演風格及歷鍊觀摩，曾遠赴中國北京、廣東深圳、上海、安徽合肥等地區做短期文化交流研習觀摩，讓團員更深入體會各民族舞蹈之精髓，期能於表演時肢體語言、表情身段發揮的更生動精緻。
劇場深自期許傳承臺灣舞蹈藝術文化，並以創新舞蹈藝術的能量，將臺灣舞蹈藝術文化之美，盡心推廣至社會各角落，為台灣舞蹈藝術文化盡一份棉薄之力。
