電影中的配樂除了委託專門作曲家為之創作外，也時常借用已存在的古典音樂來襯托劇情的張力，更有些經典的樂曲被重覆地使用在不同的電影情節當中。D.S.室內樂坊為了向大眾推廣更多更精緻的古典音樂，特別企劃了一場以演奏電影音樂為主的音樂會，透過室內樂以及獨奏的演出型式，讓聽眾了解到古典音樂在電影中扮演著重要的角色。
