景點介紹
「新莊青年公園」又稱為「牡丹心生態公園」，座落於啞口坑溪及十八份坑溪之間，林口臺地東南邊緣的牡丹心山系上，為新莊市唯一自然生態保育公園。
整座青年公園依自然山勢地形所闢建，園區內野生及人工栽植樹木花草遍佈茂盛，並有環山道路及登山步道穿越其間。牡丹心山系的開發是由鄭余鎮市長時期，著手闢建環山道路及主題園區，並將其命名為「青年公園」，在民國七十八年元旦正式落成啟用。
「新莊青年公園」位於新莊西北郊十八份坑溪，以及壽山路右側之十八坑山。緊鄰啞口坑及青山路左側之白袍嶺，即是傳說中的「雙鳳」，地勢龍蟠虎踞，扼十八坑溪及啞口坑溪之鑰。而介於兩溪之間的牡丹心山頭，穩座雙鳳之中，若由「興莊亭」鳥瞰台北盆地，可將「雙鳳朝牡丹」之奇景盡收眼底，因此「青年公園」也被稱為「牡丹心生態公園」。
↑建議路線是先走綠色實線，沿著水泥步道上坡走上去，走到底就是兒童遊樂區，也就是地圖上的主題園區精神堡壘的所在，香菇亭已變成活力廣場→興莊亭→香花園區→土地公廟→廣濟寺→樟腦寮步道→大榕樹與牌樓＝繞園一圈，在筆記本也畫一份地圖，方便找路
