美國新聞網站BUSINESS INSIDER依據世界建築獎(World Architecture Festival)入圍的338件作品中選出27棟地球上最酷的建築，其中就包括了新北市中和國民運動中心、其他還有像是日本廣島的緞帶教堂(Ribbon Chapel)、紐約的富爾頓(Fulton Center)中心等等。
