【8213肢體舞蹈劇場】於2006年由致力革新臺灣舞蹈的孫棁泰創立，並與不同領域的藝術家們進行「跨界」合作，創造不可取代的獨創作品；多年來，推出的作品，深入探討社會議題、人性等，且強調舞者本身傳遞的獨特能量，建立舞蹈與觀看者之間的關係，直接透過肢體，感動人群；該團傑出的表現，也連續多年獲得文化部育成級一年計畫團隊的肯定。
本次製作的初始發想，源自舞團藝術總監孫梲泰過去某次由牆上躍下的經驗，當時他唯一的輔助工具是一條繩子，在那個連續不斷的動作中，他感受到時空的靜止，找到了瞬間的平靜，原來動與靜之間，沒有全然的界線，兩者共生共存。

本場演出探討動靜之間的奧妙、轉接時刻的巧妙。邀請五位中／新生代的編舞家：詹天甄、許程崴、張雅為、蔡晴丞、梁儉豐(香港)，以「Less is more(少即是多)」的極簡方式，捨棄華麗的舞臺佈景以及視覺科技結合，回歸經典舞蹈的表演方式 ｢Ｓｏｌｏ獨舞｣ 呈現，並一同反思身體與城市間的微妙關係。
「獨」代表我們對自編自跳的堅持，「綻」說的是綻放、表達、展現，用肢體舞蹈表達舞者的想法。起心動念之間是舞蹈由意念轉為動作的起始點，仔細思考，自己是否被城市的節奏所制約，忘了歷史，也迷失本心呢？8213肢體舞蹈劇場希望每一位觀眾都能藉由舞蹈得到反思與正面能量。
