創辦人王金匙演藝生涯經驗豐富，聲調技巧多變精妙，五音分明；掌技高超變幻莫測，努力開拓敝團在布袋戲表演的演出疆土，廣受好評。第二代傳人-團長王英峻秉持傳統藝術創新文化，開發布袋戲演出無限可能，榮獲特優獎全國第一名、人氣獎全國總冠軍等，堪稱劇界青年才俊，為目前中部地區最超人氣超大型金光布袋戲演出團隊。
2000年起，【聲五洲】把教學研習工作延伸至中台灣各級院校，走入校園做傳承研習課程。辦理國小教學講座校園巡迴表演，逾五百所國小上千場次超過上萬名學童受惠，希望培養師生對布袋戲的了解與認識，藉以發揚偶戲文化綿延不絕。 近年來，敝團躍登國際舞台(美國、比立時、法國巴黎、盧森堡、中國、北京、上海、莆田、廈門、港澳)，代表台灣發揚傳統表演藝術，提昇布袋戲藝術之美。
【聲五洲】會繼續堅持與努力，將布袋戲文化向下紮根，偶戲薪傳，「讓布袋戲歷久彌新」，這是敝團永久不變的目標。
