以「TAIWAN現景」作為展覽主題，其對此創作的內構思維於時空變遷的某種現象與發生，並以自我的視覺角度來詮釋記錄今日台灣走訪後的觀察與整理，追求繪畫研究在精練的技術之後就是創作本質與內涵，使之台灣現景作為創作目的為依據，當知現象如自然景觀的遷動或生活於叢林都市的擁擠現狀以及食物安全事件等。作者以明晰的寫實繪畫風格，一一道明每一幅畫的面向情緒。
「TAIWAN現景」為畫家葉春新所呈現之西畫創作展覽，本次展覽以臺灣的地景地物為方向，結合油彩、粉彩、水彩及綜合媒材來詮釋畫作，於展者的繪畫思維中，依循著審美角度與觀點去記錄臺灣地景所蘊含的美感價值，同時對臺灣在地環境的熱情與關注反映至自然景物的描繪中。在系列的畫作中，畫家欲透過寫實繪畫來傳達出一種群眾共同的環境記憶，並以主、客觀描繪對臺灣環境的情感，轉化成美感彩現的理想實證。 (4/4~4/6清明連假休館)
